Meet Ryan Hamity

Certified Personal Trainer & Licensed Massage & Bodywork Practitioner

Ryan Hamity has spent his life in the athletic world. He grew up playing soccer before transitioning to cross-country running in high school, eventually moving into elite-level cycling where he trained at an intense competitive level; often riding 30+ hours per week and racing alongside some of the top athletes in the sport.

After cycling, he transitioned into acrobatics, again progressing into elite performance. He has performed on stages such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre and at festivals throughout North and Central America. He is also a head coach at Pitch Catch School of Acrobatics, an intensive acrobatic training program focused on skill, precision, and partner-based movement.

For Ryan, fitness is not a separate part of life; it is a way of living. His work is rooted in discipline, curiosity, and a long-standing relationship with high-level physical training and performance.

With life long experience as an athlete, 16+ years coaching, Ryan noticed that the only thing lacking from his offerings was therapeutic touch so he became a lisenced Massage Therapist in order to round out his offerings and practice.

Coaching Approach

As a NASM certified personal trainer, Ryan focuses heavily on movement quality, technique, and fundamentals. He believes that all complex movement is built from small, precise patterns, and that long-term progress depends on how well those foundations are developed.

His coaching is detail-oriented and adaptive. He meets clients where they are, then builds intelligently from there, helping them strengthen what already works while improving what limits them.

Whether someone is training for performance, building strength, or simply looking to move and feel better in their body, Ryan’s approach is structured, intentional, and grounded in real-world application.

Massage & Bodywork Approach

Ryan is the owner of Balanced Form Bodywork, and offers a deeply integrative approach to massage therapy.

His sessions combine structural bodywork, myofascial techniques, stretching, and Thai-inspired methods to support both recovery and physical realignment. His background as an athlete informs a highly attuned understanding of how the body moves, compensates, and holds tension.

Rather than working on the body in isolation, Ryan works with the body—following its structure, responsiveness, and natural intelligence.

Each session is tailored to the individual, with the intention of improving mobility, reducing tension, and restoring balance in a way that supports both immediate relief and long-term function.

Who This Is For

Ryan works with a wide range of people, including:

  • Athletes and active individuals

  • People recovering from or managing physical tension or injury

  • Those looking to improve strength, mobility, and performance

  • Individuals seeking long-term support for how their body feels and functions

His work bridges performance and recovery, supporting both ends of the spectrum

“LionFire Collective brings together personal training and therapeutic bodywork under one integrated approach to physical well-being.

The work is focused on helping you feel stronger, move better, and recover more effectively, meeting you exactly where you are at.

Whether you're training to build strength or seeking relief from tension and pain, everything is designed to support a more capable and resilient body over time.”

For those ready to support their body as a whole system, strength, recovery, and nervous system balance, this combined offering brings together personal training and hands-on bodywork in a seamless, intentional way.

This is for people who don’t want to separate fitness from recovery, or performance from care. It’s for those who understand that true strength is not just built in effort, but also in integration, restoration, and how the body is held and supported between sessions.

Integrated Training + Bodywork Package

Through Lion Fire Collective’s integrated package, Ryan becomes part of your ongoing process, not just as a trainer, but as a guide in how your body builds resilience over time. Sessions are designed to complement each other: what is opened, challenged, and activated in training is supported, unwound, and regulated through bodywork.

This combination allows for:

  • More sustainable strength development

  • Faster recovery and reduced physical tension

  • Improved mobility, alignment, and body awareness

  • Nervous system regulation alongside physical conditioning

  • A deeper relationship with your body’s capacity and intelligence

Whether you are working toward athletic goals, rebuilding foundational strength, or simply wanting to feel more at home in your body, this offering creates a bridge between effort and integration, so your progress doesn’t just accumulate, it settles into your system.

A Whole-Body Approach to Strength

Ryan’s approach recognizes that strength is not separate from recovery, breath, or nervous system capacity. Training is paced and structured in a way that supports longevity, not burnout.

For those wanting a more integrated experience, personal training can also be combined with bodywork sessions through Lion Fire Collective, creating a fuller cycle of activation and restoration.
